To encounter these mammals from the air is an exciting experience and one not to be missed. This includes Sperm whales, dolphins, seals and other whales, such as Humpback, Orca or Killer, Fin and Blue whales. On our scenic flights you will be awed by the spectacular views of the Kaikoura mountain range and coastline. We pride ourselves on the high level of experience. Whale watching is our speciality on the scenic flight. Only 2 hours north of Christchurch and 1.5 hours south of Picton. The 30-minute scenic flights cost is similar to that of a 3-hour whale-watching boat trip. We are situated 5km south of Kaikoura at Kaikoura Airport on State Highway 1.
