Mount Cook Salmon

With unique views of Mt Cook and the Southern Alps, the world's highest freshwater salmon farm is located on the hydro-electric canal linking Lakes Tekapo and Pukaki. The Heritage Trail follows this section of sealed canal road to Mt Cook Salmon and links back into SH 8 at the toe of Lake Pukaki (see map).
