Franz Josef Glacier Guides have been in operation since 1990, and are committed to providing the most incredible glacier experience. The skill and experience of our guides in cutting clear, safe step-lines allows us to travel comfortably through some of the most spectacular and challenging terrain imaginable. Our clients are able to go further and see more. Half day Glacier Experience trips 8.45am, 12.30pm, (10.30am 3.00pm in summer only). Full day Glacier Adventure trips (7-8 hours) 8.15am, 9.15am. Ice Climbing (7-8 hours) 7.45am. Heli-hike departures throughout the day, weather dependent.
