Boulder Hill Walk

Walk high above the Hutt Valley into the Belmont Regional Park, and stand on the summit of Boulder Hill.  The shortest walk up Boulder Hill starts from the suburb of Kelson, and winds through beautiful regenerating native bush.  You then emerge on to farmland (which can be a little muddy) and then on to an atmospheric summit covered in large boulders.  There are sweeping views all around the Wellington region, and even across to the mountains of the South Island.
