Belmont Trig Walk

Belmont Trig is the highest point in Wellington's Belmont Regional Park, which lies between Porirua and the Hutt Valley. The park contains many points of historic interest (e.g. Korokoro dam, WW2 ammunition stores, and an old coach road), as well as magnificent views over the Hutt Valley and Greater Wellington.  There are numerous walking trails to Belmont Trig, ranging from a few hours return, to a full day traverse along the length of the Belmont Regional Park.
