The Top House, Taupo

With panoramic views over Lake Taupo to the mountains beyond, The Top House is set in private native gardens at Whakamoenga Point, near Acacia Bay. This award winning Fraser Cameron designed house incorporates glass, timber and local stone to create a true New Zealand ambience. It is self contained accommodation with five bedrooms and three bathrooms. A second living room and a games room can double as additional bedrooms, making this self catering house suitable for small groups and families of up to 12 guests.  Large living rooms and a well appointed kitchen add to the feeling of space. Alfresco dining is popular with barbeque, two decks and secluded lawn. Also a very inviting and warm fire for the cooler winter months with other heat pumps to accommodate all guests.
